Renewals Executive (Education Partnerships)

My client, a leading organisation within the Education Technology market is looking for an Renewals Account Manager to join their team. This will be an office based role focused on creating long-term, trusting relationships with customers.

The main purpose of the role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers within a targeted region, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.

Key duties:

•Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters

•Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships

•Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits

•Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, daily

•Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives

•Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly and achieve assigned personal and team targets

•Develop new business with existing clients and identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas

•Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. monthly, quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)

•Prepare reports on account status

•Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory

•Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

Key skills:

•Proven work experience in a role such as a Renewals Executive, Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Junior Account Manager.

•Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key decision makers at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level

•Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Goldmine CRM or Sales logic) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)

•Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs, problem-solving.

•Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail

•Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities

•Strong verbal and written communication skills

•Flexible and be able to handle changing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously

• Educational industry and/or teaching experience preferred

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a SAAS subscriptions business as a preference, dealing with account managing and renewing cycles. Training will be provided to ensure strong understanding of all online products and professional development offerings in order to provide customers with guidance and motivation. Strong telephone and customer engagement is what we are looking for.
